Google images makes a difference in searching for a a specific image. It can help with kids reports and posters.
Searching in Google Books I discovered magazines, but many are backdated and scrolling the pages to include the ads was not a fun way of looking. If they scanned magazines and left out the ads perhaps then it would be a tool I would use.
